custom work:
Yes, I do commissions/custom work: murals, bathroom doors, painted windows, portraits, illustration & logo design. If you have an idea, I'm probably down. You just have to ask.
custom rates:
PORTRAITS/SMALL WORKS: $1.75/square inch plus $45/hr design time. Generally involves two hours of design work (creating sketches and evolving concept w/ client). 12" x 12" minimum.
MURALS: Time + Materials. My design rate is $45/hr. Involves working out concept over email and phone, creating sketches, setting up a time for on-site work (permanent piece on a wall) or installation (hanging large-scale moveable piece).
Illustration/DESIGN: My design rate is $45/hr. Involves working out concept over a cup of coffee, via email or phone-- gathering info on the mission/goal of the business, intended end use for design, chosing color scheme and fonts, going back and forth with designs to find the right fit. I supply print-ready and web-ready files of the final design. I am also able to offer some printing services at a competitive rate: business cards, letterhead, flyers, postcards, sales sheets, brochures.
START HERE: To begin the process of working on a custom piece, email me. If you can send me images and an idea of what you're looking for (size, color, themes) in that first email, I can give you a good idea of timeline and cost. Once we agree on the concept, I require a deposit (20% of estimated project cost). Balance is due on receipt of final piece.
